Buckeye Camp is a cluster of five housekeeping cottages and a few camp sites nestled among mature pines along 1000 feet of Smith Lake shoreline.

Each cottage has a well equipped kitchen complete with electric stove and fridge also a wood  stove, electric heater, picnic table, barbecue, porch and the use of a fire pit.

Guests may rent a boat and motor at the camp. There are local outfitters that will rent canoeing and kayaking gear and even provide guided canoe trips and ATV tours. Limited complimentary docking and beaching of watercraft is available to our guests.

Buckeye Camp offers unlimited opportunities to savour the four-season delights of Northern Cottage Country, great fishing, trails for exploring and canoe routes for tripping, a remarkable diversity in flora and fauna, and frequent encounters with a variety of wildlife.
